- 1 lb beef liver
- 2 cups water
- 1 1/2 cup toasted wheat germ
- 1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
Boil liver and water. Drain liver, but reserve 1 cup cooking liquid. Whirl liver and 1 cup liquid in blender. Add wheat germ and flour. Stir. Roll out dough 1/2 inch thick. Cut out with bone shaped cookie cutter.
Cook on greased baking sheet at 350 F for 20 minutes. Leave on sheets until dry.
